When White was finally dismissed Dan Coles (18), Ash Berry (14no) and Martin Causey (8no) knocked off the rest with the minimum of fuss as Ashburton won by 6 wickets with 5.1 overs to spare. Alasdair Barclay (2 for 44) was the pick of the Chagford bowlers.
After the game skipper Ash Berry said "We were sloppy for the first quarter of the game but then picked it up and finished clinically. Credit to Chagford, our lads and both umpires for getting this game on today".
